  April 4, 2014 - The nose is a bit reticent but with some vigorous swirling I get some red and black fruit and spices. The palate is a big mouthful of ripe plums, tart blueberries and blackberries, in a creamy package with a hint of smooth tannin on the finish, then a touch of acidity to keep everything focused. Nice wine that I enjoyed so much the remaining 2 bottles may not make it to their third birthday.
