  April 12, 2014 - Elegant, earthy, feminine, smooth and refined. A beautiful mature wine. Decanted at 5pm and mostly drunk from 7-9 pm. A little brick on the edge and a translucent ruby color. Lots of earth, mushroom and leather on the nose. Velvety soft on the tongue with some dried cranberry and cherry along with the various earthy notes. A joy to drink with a grilled rare ribeye.
