  May 9, 2014 - Lots of dark blackberry notes in the nose. Medium dark, medium-full body.
  A big gush of berry fruit and a slight spice to lift it. Good acidity and a medium long-finish that was a nice surprise. A good contrast to the current trend toward funky syrahs that should have broader appeal as a food companion. Excellent QPR. Drink now and for the next 2-3 years for its freshness.
