May 24, 2014 - Medium + Clear Gold. Rather viscus but lively in the glass.

Medium + Intensity on the nose. Fresh fruit aromas like pineapple, peach and papaya. Showing developing notes of baked apple, marmalade, smoked honey, spruce, juniper, pepper.

The palate is sweet, with medium + acid and loads of body. Medium alcohol but it is nearly unperceivable. The sugar and acid play remarkably well together making this generously sugared wine zippy on your palate. There are few things worse than wines of this nature that are cloying. Notes of baking spice come out on the palate and even more ripe fruit.

Upon revisiting, strong notes of brownsugar and cloves. Very long finish, excellent quality and can easily age for another decade (longer if I didn't own half bottles).
