  June 1, 2014 - Well blah. Very unbalanced syrupy red fruit front with a bitter aftertaste. Oozed over the food (a lovely duck ragu) instead of exciting the palate. Not enough acid to smooth out the mercifully short finish. In sum -- a poor wine. Thankfully was just a glass ordered in a restaurant, moved on quickly.
