  June 1, 2014 - Nice wine, very primary, simple blue fruit, short on finish. Bought this wine based on the 93-95 point reviews from others on CT. I have found the $25 Bedrock wines more appealing. I expected more density, and depth. So ends my Bedrock purchases.

  6/1/14, 12:37 PM - I haven't had this wine yet. My general impression, however, is that all these wines are released way too early. There is also a collective over-rating of these wines because people have an affinity for the producer. But my general impression is that the reds are very well made wines - they just need time in bottle. Just my 0.02.

  6/1/14, 6:13 PM - Hey there- This wine is a baby as I make the Heritage wines in a way that are meant to resemble Ridge or Ravenswood wines of the early 90's- which have aged beautifully. However, unlike a lot of Zinfandel producers this means that some of the wines are not immediately accessible upon release (though some people like them with more structure and primary character). The lower priced wines, like the Old Vine are meant for earlier consumption, which is why you may have had a better experience with them.
  
  Replevin. When do you suggest that I release the wines? Do you say that Napa Cabernets that are meant to be aged for a while to gain complexity are also released too early?
