  June 27, 2014 - A wine that is very light on its feet.....color is light ruby red, translucent, almost burgundy like. Nose is slightly muted by Cayuse standards. Palate is ever changing...starts out big and bold, but fades with time and becomes somewhat astringent. Dark plum, charred oak, spice, some greenness, and a hint of new world cab. Will save remaining half for tomorrow.
