June 30, 2014 - Fun wine from a great little producer. Margaret River can be pretty pricey (especially here in Canada) so these wines are a really great way to get a taste for the region without dropping a ton of cash. (The reds really don't show as well as the whites)

In the glass the wine is a clear pale lemon with specks of green straw. The nose is aromatic with notes of raw green grapes, juniper, ancho chili peppers, kiwi and dragon fruit. The palate is fresh and spicy with a distinct oiliness. The finish is grassy not unlike Sauvignon Blanc. Some of the oak also comes through in the finish providing a base for all the zingy fruit to stand on.

We've tried a couple older vintages as well - they hold up amazingly well, especially if you don't mind funky whites.
