June 30, 2014 - Popped and poured an ounce that was bright. Alive and promising on the nose of mid season fruit. First taste was bing cherry and fig. Tight on its edges as expected for its age, and more promise displayed. Decanted and drank over 2 hours. Not big or terribly complex but quite satisfying. Mid palate bursts with an abundance of fruit on tip, sides, and top of tongue. Quite good and may get better. Will report back in 2015-16.
