August 5, 2007 - Medium orange tinted red. Notable sulphur aromas dominate the nose and never go away, though they did mitigate some with hour+ of air. Red strawberry, but mostly raspberry with a dusty mineral tone. Fruity-spice and depth on the palate which feels wound up. Needs many many years to unfold. Not sweet, well proportioned with no dosage or acid sticking out. Serious and weighty wine. Sulphur almost reductive aromas keep me from rating it highter now. Not sure I can see through it.
