  July 6, 2014 - More Burgundian than Californian. Quite simple red fruit with a bit of spice and earth. Decent acidity. Everything was kind of here but not enough weight to balance the 13.5 pct alc. Going in right direction but maybe just needed the vines to mature. In terms of typicity will hold judgment.
