  July 12, 2014 - Enjoying this in Cabardes right now. Bold aroma of oak, spice and herbs, indicative of the terrain and perhaps where it takes its name. This is not a shy wine. There's no fruitiness here. Strong taste of herbs and spice with very chewy tannins, but it descends the throat as an angel might descend a chimney, wing tips gently brushing the rough imbricated stone. Drink it now.
