July 21, 2014 - This was very fruit forward with juicy fruit, a nose of kirsch, some citrus, and finishing with a mouthful of cottony tannins. Almost new world in presentation, but with a hint of provencal spice, very well-balanced and very drinkable (and not very complex). No idea when this was bottled or made, but a code on the label says L.06.13-07.08. No idea whether this means something or not.

10/8/15, 5:31 PM - just bought a bottle of this from Flickinger in Chicago with the same lot # and dates, and what it seems to mean is bottled in June 2013, being a blend of 2007 and 2008 vintages. might be wrong on the 06.13, but that's what it appears to mean.. that would seem to make sense as i know this wine is held for several (5+) years before bottling.

10/8/15, 5:43 PM - Interesting. The bottles I have (with that notation) were delivered in April of 2014, so your observation is consistent with that delivery date.

10/8/15, 6:54 PM - Well, from my notes, it doesn't seem like a long-term ager. My recollection was that this was a nice CdR, but don't know if it captures the Bonneau magic. That said, it was young and his wines do crazy things with enough time. I have some other bottles, will write another note when I try another.
