  July 22, 2014 - 3 hour decant. Wonderful nose; picking up leather, spice and mineral notes. Went well with ribeye steaks. Nice dark fruits and some lead pencil. Not much heat to speak of. My only complaint is that after the first glass I noticed it began to fall apart a bit. Will let the other bottles sit for a another year.

  7/22/14, 10:52 PM - Thanks for the tasting note. Not sure if your bottle was cork or screw cap? This is a long term wine which should last for +15 years with ease ... under screw cap ... but variable under cork!
