  August 17, 2014 - Opened up nicely after an hour or so of decanting. Started out with dark fruit, almost stewed, borderline overripe, yet thin, vegetal, and tannic. Oxygen led to a more substantial body and broader flavor profile, with leather, mint, and tobacco, along with the dark fruit. Ultimately was a satisfying wine, but it needs time to open up
