Community Tasting Note

August 25, 2014 - No formal notes. Raw, visceral and rustic tannins. Sensationally pure red fruits, rocks herbs and forest floor. More powerful than the 08 but never heavy. I wish I had taken more descriptive notes. Imagine cappellano in the village of barolo. I can't put a number score on this... it is the essence of pure, unpolished and unrestricted barolo. Reminds me of b mascarello fruit and g rinaldi structure, though its a bit unpolished in a great way. I love this.

3/15/15, 11:23 AM - ChazG14- you have only a few tasting notes, but fascinating wines! The Canonica - where did you get it? Not an easy bottle to find. Always enjoy reading your insightful comments. - ChazBham (Georgetown M'95) ausonius@gmail.com
