  August 29, 2014 - Opened the bottle on 8/28/14. Loads of vanilla and caramel on entry followed by a swell of pencil shavings, black coffee, candy corn and bitter chocolate. Not much complexity here. Very simple, straightforward, and uninspiring. Great looking bottle though! Personally, I wouldn't purchase this again; however, I will note that many of their aged bourbons and ryes are absolutely tremendous. -87 points-
