  September 9, 2014 - This is where power overrides complexity. Flavor is shockingly powerful. I was immersed into crushed ripe black currant, right away, without any breathing. Later it comes prune, which could feel strong if not black currant. On taste it is more prune though, and, again, it is overwhelming. There is enough body and texture, no problems here. Acidity and tannins are right to feel it like quite young, energetic wine. It feels a little too sweet, and have a little bit of taste of some American meritage wines, which is not quite right to me. It is "tasty" and "yammy", but not how I think wine should taste. It is not prominent though, and mostly fades away after some aeration.
