  On the plus side. It is a beautiful color of ruby red. On the nose it is nice as well. But if you are planning on drinking this, forgetaboutit.

  9/18/14, 5:39 AM - fwiw- The 2011 vintage in Oregon was very difficult. I visited in mid-October and the grapes still weren't ready to pick. My hope is that it ends up like 2007--another difficult vintage that was panned upon release--where the wines put on weight in the bottle and drink beautifully in the 2016-17 timeframe. Only time will tell though.
