  September 20, 2014 - I opened a bottle in July of 2013 and it was firing on all cylinders. Tannic, deep blackberry and leather tastes with a hint of pepper. Everything you'd expect from a napa cab. I opened a bottle tonight and let it decant for 2 hours, finally started to loosen up and was much better when paired with food, but it appears to have passed its prime. Tasting profile was over-ripe and slightly musky, with hints of the flavor profile from last summer so certainly still drinkable but recommend opening asap if you have one. Absolutely love ZD wines, my fault for not opening sooner.
