September 27, 2014 - From half a bottle and at the end of a long wine dinner so palate fatigue played a role but it didn't feel right , a few bitter notes and altogether not right. We believe having tried this before ( Papies 95) that it is not characteristic of the wine and hence no rating here but very worried to find this level of bottle variation.

10/3/14, 6:54 AM - I had this one recently (see my note of 9/9/2014) from 750ml bottle and it was excellent. I rated it 95 as you did previously. You must have come across a bad bottle. Is it possible that the size has played a role in this? To be honest, in general I have not found big differences between different size formats of a certain wine, only a slightly more rapid pace of evolution for the smaller ones.
