  August 27, 2007 - Nose of figs combined with berry jolly ranchers in a fruit-stained oak barrel. High alcohol, but lovely mouthfeel. The tannins have fully integrated in this bottle and the finish is very peppery. Fruity flavor, but alcohol overpowered all but the strawberry aspect. I'd say this is a "drink now" wine as I don't see it having the stuff to continue to improve. Very tasty.
