  October 5, 2014 - a bit disappointing given previously vintages. This is frequently one of my favorite sub-premium Cali cabs and given the hype about the 2012 vintage, I was hoping for more. Not bad, but few expressive cab notes. You really have to focus to pick up the fruit. What fun is that? The price point on this used to be closer to $15-17 and now stands around $20. Unfortunately, this 2012 tastes no better than a $12-15 Cali cab of the same vintage from other producers. The search for my "goto" 2012 cab continues.
