  October 12, 2014 - I tried the '11 version at the 2013 pickup party at the winery and felt compelled to pick up 3 bottles of the '12 at release after some positive comments on WB. It is a well made wine with great chalky minerality. I guess this could be something along the lines of a Meursault, but that's where the excitement ends. I found the acidity to be lacking, perhaps due to the riper characteristics of the vintage and very noticeable oak influence. The Pinnacle, a site close by, has for me more of the textbook acidity that Ceritas is known for delivering.
  
  Going forward, I will stick with the P-B, Heintz and Pinnacle.
