  October 13, 2014 - A stunning bottle of Vatan Sancerre. It starts out as a mineral bomb, incredibly flinty and chalky on the palate, and with air tart grapefruit and other citrus flavours emerge, with other herbal and faint floral notes developing with more time. There's amazing depth here, great focus and lightness on the palate with a powerful acid spine beneath, and remarkable length. Vatan never fails to deliver.
