  October 13, 2014 - Again, not your typical merlot. Pride's merlot is more akin to cabernet sauvignon. Smooth, velvety, luscious. Completely covers the palette. Nice black fruit, drying while still a touch sweet. Smooth with a medium-long finish. Paired this with a fennel sausage and mushroom risotto. Drinking very well now, but still has some time on it. Shared with 4 others, all thought it was delicious. Great wine from a great winery.
