  October 19, 2014 - Color is a honey, almost amber. Nose is deep and rich. The wine is honey and caramel and delicious but not like a typical chardonnay at this stage of its life. I brought it to accompany a white truffle pasta dish and it would have clashed. My friend believed it would go better with cheese; not being a cheese guy I can't say but it's almost a dessert wine at this point. Drink with this in mind and you'll love it; do not drink if you are expecting typical chardonnay, and do not drink at all if you want something from the Côte de Beaune.
