Not remotely ready to drink: primary, tannic, opaquely purple. Even after 3 hours of decanting, disjointed and harsh, barely hinting at future nuance. I saved half a bottle for tomorrow but I'm not optimistic that it will improve much. Not flawed, just painfully, egregiously, criminally immature.

  10/29/14, 1:17 PM - This bottle was in a commercial storage facility for most of the last 8 or 9 years until I pulled it out a couple of months ago. We've had this experience before with other similarly-stored bottles, especially more traditionally-made wines - I just think they age much more slowly in those conditions. (Oh, and our wine was only slightly more settled down on Day 2.)
