  October 29, 2014 - I suppose I underestimated this wine as I was immediately impressed with this Burg from the get-go...Coffee and chocolate nose, rich and fat, well structured and still even a bit grippy. Pumpkin spice, gobs of blue fruit and blackberry with a hint of grapefruit rind. Thrilling and delicious, what an incredible bargain for a mature 1er Cru. I would be happy to have paid double for a bottle like this.
