November 2, 2014 - I think that this bottle was at the tipping point before imminent break-up. Its nose and quite full bodied palate were very evolved, rich and very expressive with complex aromas of anise, tar and liquorice as well as residual mature fruit but there was a hint of stewed cabbage which is a bad sign though by no means assertive enough yet to spoil enjoyment.

I will drink as soon as possible the last bottle in my cellar.

11/2/14, 12:03 PM - My bottle may be more evolved than many. I picked it up about 5 years ago at the enoteca in the Montefalco main square, where there was no air conditioning and heat exposure was a risk.

Unfortunately, I also do not think my bottle was stored in an optimal way. I bought it recently and I do not know how it was stored. So I prefer not to risk too much ;-)
    P.S.: Thanks for the friendship.
