November 5, 2014 - My first Biggio Hamina pinot and one hell of a bottle! Floral on the nose, earth barnyard bright cherry, herbs and some darker fruit very complex balanced with brilliant acidity, and some grip, some percentage of whole cluster I don't know? all wrapped in a nicely balance package from start to finish. I thought about this bottle for two days. Very well made wine.

11/7/14, 7:23 AM - Au contraire Arthrovine, this wine is a fine example of Oregon PN, made in a vintage that was tricky for many.

Dulcie easy big fella it's a old joke from a long ago thread.

11/7/14, 2:48 PM - Indeed Dulcie. I adore 2007 pinot. We can trade any and all of my 06, 08, and 09 for those 07s. I love those "cold" years. (2010 and 2011 too!)

BTW: Have enjoyed your analyses on many bottles over the years. We appear to have similar tastes in some wines. Thanks

11/8/14, 5:50 AM - Thank you for the compliment Arthro. Indeed it seems we both love (pinot) in a cold climate. I was a bit skeptical of the '11s at first, but they seem to be developing. Had some lovely ones at Archery Summit in August
