    November 15, 2014 - This was brought back from Italy by a friend of a friend. I am sure it tasted better on the veranda in Tuscany. First off the cork was difficult to get out of the bottle. I could hardly get a worm in it, so I tried my Durand which it bent while cutting my finger. So we went back to a traditional screw and the cork literal split as it exited the bottle. Weird. The wine had an odd nose of cheese while also having some slight cherries. Better on the palate, it was thin and dilute cherries but no off qualities. Overt acidity. My wife dumped her glass after a few sips. Sadly, she dumped it into my glass which I did not finish. Maybe it needs time to sort out, but I don't think this will ever be to my tastes.

    3/2/17, 9:05 PM - Sounds like your friend possibly got a flawed bottle/faulty cork. At least three of the professional reviews for this wine/vintage are significantly better:
