December 2, 2014 - A fruit bomb, in the best sense of the phrase. There's a lot to attract your attention, or distract it, namely that the very high alcohol kills the mouthfeel. But the rest of the experience is plenty of unrefined fun. Really great with pasta and red sauce!

12/5/14, 3:38 PM - I agree with this assessment and am constantly surprised by the number of knowledgeable wine drinkers who give the Prisoner higher ratings. It is a good but very fruit forward wine. 90 is a bit high by my tastes.
