December 11, 2014 - Ugh. Do not bother. If you own it, try to sell it. Even if it's for half of what you paid. Take the money and buy something you know you like. I've had several second labels (Echo from Lynch Bages comes to mind) and they never come anywhere close to the first labels. 2004 isn't considered a spectacular vintage but I've had '04 California wines which were far superior for a third of the price.

12/12/14, 11:52 AM - I can see why you didn't like this - I think the 04 Bordeaux (especially the 2nd wines) are coming up way short. I quite liked this wine, to be honest, but in general I find 2nd wines a waste of money.

12/13/14, 2:05 PM - Everyone certainly has their own tastes. That's the beauty of drinking wine. And I certainly didn't mean it tastes like a low-end bar wine but it falls dramatically short of the first label and for the price, there are so many better options. Talbot, Beychevelle, Gruaud Larose, etc. All are more worthy imho.
