    December 26, 2014 - Somewhat surprised by the comments and score here, 87.5 at the time of this note. This is a serious wine, with an elegant bouquet that put my mind to Nebbiolo, especially warm vintage La Morra Barolo or a $50 plus traditionally styled Barbaresco. Tremendous and balanced acids, light tannins, tastes like it smells. Rewarding finish, interesting experience. The most Piemonte-like BdM I recall tasting. A lovely drop!

    1/19/15, 8:14 AM - I, too, think this wine is under the radar with respect to proper points on here - it is a classic Brunello! 2007 is as good and, according to the critics, 2008 is even better... We have a few years of good wines from this producer coming up...
