January 10, 2015 - This bottle was not overtly corked like the last one which tasted like nail polish and went down the drain. This bottle was some where imbetween, yet drinkable. It tastes like a classy pinot that unfortunately still had a bit of volatile acidity going on. It was drinkable and somewhat pleasant(mid-80s) but was disappointing because if it was in pristine shape, it would have been a 90+ wine based on its elegance and class. Too bad. As it was, tastes 2/3rds like a classy pinot and 1/3 like a really abrasive cheap wine. 88 based on average of mid80s and 90+ that it probably would be in decent shape. Almost a victory after prior bottle disaster. One more bottle left to see if I get lucky. Cork was in slightly better shape than the last one. Broke, but didn't disintegrate.
