From what I now recall from the January tasting in London, it just seemed to have too many oak-derived tannins that came off as drying on the finish. Neal Martin loves it as does Robert Parker. So maybe I'm not understanding something? In any case, I stick by my guns on this one to firmly "wait and see" lol. Better to spend your hard earned cash on the more obviously successful, sap filled and fresh Canon. And for that matter, Canon is less expensive to boot.
