  February 1, 2015 - Decanted for two and a half hours before watching the Super Bowl.
  
  My son's first comment; "You can tell this was made by some Pinot guys." It has smoothed out since I last had one two years ago. Not at all hot. Nose of cherries and cassis with a slight spiciness, Lots of dark cherry and vanilla on the palate, with a nice balance of acid and subdued tannins. Wonderful silky mouthfeel and a very long finish. It has integrated well and is probably drinking at its prime.
