  February 3, 2015 - After attending the UGC tasting in SF and being underwhelmed by smokey, light weight wines with not much depth of fruit I wanted to try this after seeing such positive reviews.
  
  The nose on this kills almost everything in memory from the tasting, milk chocolate, blackberry jam, floral. On the palate it is still a 12, medium bodied, good fruit, dry mid palate follwed by red fruit and good acidity. Very good for the year and not over oaked like may wines in 2012. Still for $80 at Total wine a pass for me.
