  February 7, 2015 - Ducru Beaucaillou vertical tasting (Metropolitan wine cellar, HK): A young Ducru to get the tasting event started. Dark inky core with tightness on the aromatics, dark cassis on the outset, light senses of licorice, tobacco, spice and stone lack a bit of focus. Mouth feel is medium bodied, clean, plush and accompanied by red/black berry and herbal spices. No hard edges to this young Ducru, yet not much excitement in its structural build either, maybe because of it youth but more so due to the vintage perhaps.
