February 18, 2015 - Even after a four hour decant, this wine is still a beast. Dense, chewy and intense. May have to have my glass (and my teeth) sandblasted to get the stain off. So much potential lies ahead. Maybe another year of two in the cellar. 03/20/2016 - Still a beast but beginning to round out. Still requires at least a four hour decant. I'll wait until 2017 before pulling the cork on another bottle. 07/23/2017 - still needs a four hour decant for the fruit to make an appearance. The tannins are not for the faint of heart.
