  October 12, 2007 - I let it breath for 2 hours. It took that long to get the tannic leathery flavor from the wine. It opened up. Nose of strawberry jam and tobacco. Mouthfeel of sweet strawberry, red currant earth and leater and a some sour cherry/unripened towards the end. Finishes leathery with a hint of that soury berry. Do not try drinking it any time soon without some serious breathing / decantingitme.
