  March 26, 2015 - This bottle caught me by surprise. It's alive! The colour was a pale ruby brown with a salmon rim. There was some separation of tannin from the liquid and given the light color, the fine tannins were quite visible. This was quite pronounced as we worked through the bottle. On the nose there was some rose petal lurking, but mostly damp wood and underbrush. On the palate there was little fruit besides fading cherry, more wood, almost stemmy, and some nice complimentary spice. This still had some grip and good acid! A real treat to drink a burgundy with some age and see that the balance is still very much there.
