  April 14, 2015 - Glad I paid more attention this time, significantly better than I thought. Decanted. Dark purple. Fresh blue and black fruit, cassis, and vanilla on the nose. Opening on the palate with plum, blackberry and a nice hit of strawberry. The strawberry contributes acidity, balancing the wine nicely. At first finishing with green pepper. After an hour, hints of cedar on the nose with the dark fruits more developed. Evolves with a chocolate note and a medium plus finish with the green pepper/tannin notes.
