  April 22, 2015 - My first stab at an Aussie shiraz since joining CT. Was expecting big fruit, high ABV, lots of oak, and little subtlety. Am happy to report I was (mostly) wrong. Is it New World? Certainly....but with enough structure and length to make it interesting. Best thing for me? At about $20 it's great QPR! I'll be happy to serve blind at a party and let my guests think it's a quality syrah from Cal's Central Coast costing twice as much.
