April 24, 2015 - Intensely aromatic on the nose, with expensive oak, butterscotch, cardamon, cumin seed, greengage. When the palate doesn't back it up with proper acidity and backbone it becomes cloying, unbalanced, and in the end annoying. Nope, doesn't do it for me. Overrated and overpriced.

One can only imagine what score you would give to one you actually did like!! But I totally agree its waaaay more expensive than it "should be" for whatever quality one finds in this bottle.

In this case, there were certainly plenty of fruit and oak aromatics on display. It was just a bit overdone, unbalanced.
