April 23, 2015 - Very pale straw color. Aromas: bursting with lime, white peach and green and McIntosh apple slices. It also smells of blue slate, sea shells, potpourri, daisies, intense crushed rock notes. On the palate, Tingly acid, creamy body, the fruit is a mix of everything from the zesty lime juice to the rich papaya and mango notes. So refreshing, showing honey and richness, but the acid and zesty fruit make this so easy to drink, not too sweet and still super tangy. Integrated so well. Complex elements of slate, chalk, river streams. Seems to have a long life ahead. I’d love to revisit this in four or five years. I only had one bottle, so I’m both upset I didn’t cellar it and excited I tasted it at this level of vibrant youth.
