  4/27 Follow-up - My wife forgot to drink her wine from the previous night and left it in the decanter. What a great mistake! Tannins are gone and you get bright red cherry, great structure, and food-friendly acidity. Good things in store for this one.
  
  Interestingly enough, I consumed one glass each on the 28th and 29th from the bottle. Still tannic.
