May 2, 2015 - Popped and poured, light straw flecked with gold. Very floral upon first pour, think jasmine & honeysuckle along with notes of sliced lime, apple slices, subtle medicinal phenols and an impression of briny minerals. Medium body. Where to begin with the multi-dimensional palate -- perhaps the notes of green apple, yeast and mild hops?? To some extent, almost like a quality weiss beer...! That said, with expressive fruit complimented by an impression of steely, saline minerals and razor sharp acidity, this is mostly reminiscent of great Grand Cru Chablis...actually, make that profound.
Epic CA Chardonnay in this bottle -- what more could you want?
