Typical overripe fruit, alcohol level where it no longer is invited back to the dinner table. I do not expect it to age very well in the sense of improving. The lack of complexity was appalling next to a nice bottle of Cos and a lesser vintage, but beautifully drinking bottle of Vosne-Romanee

    9/16/15, 7:30 AM - No. The wine was not flawed. It was just without any interest. It was very dark; probably had every correct polyphenol index possible, very ripe.....I can get those same qualities from a $ 12 bottle of Cotes de Rhone. It shows everything that is wrong about growing cool climate grape varieties in a climate that is too warm for that.
